I notice on the travel blogs that there are requests, for information on the location and how to stay at the Strato Rim Overlook Campground. This is not an active campground. I assume the campground was used during the historic balloon flights in 1934 and 1935. There is no visible indication of the campground at the coordinates. The Forest Service Road #370, “Big Red Road” deadends at that location. The road is now a trail that takes you to the Strato Rim Overlook.
