It is a small lake almost dry certain times of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rod and Gun Campground and the Timon Campground are also good base camps for this area. Tinton is an old mining town, viewed now from outside the fence. Roughlock Falls, Timon Cave, an old cellar and a national Christmas tree are located in this area.
